Parachute Consulting was formed in 2004 with a vision of providing straight-forward advice and support on areas that are focused on the interactions and inter-workings of business and IT. This is an area that is so often overlooked by organisations. More than that, it is something that is overlooked by consultancies, too. That is why Parachute Consulting was set up – to fill a gap that we feel is critical to the success of a business. That and the fact that it is a space that we think is exciting, challenging, and extremely rewarding – after all, it is important for us to enjoy what we do, too, not least because it translates to more motivated people working with you, our clients.

We believe that trying to be all things to all men dilutes the quality and ability of a consultancy; that is why we remain true to our conviction that if you get business-IT alignment right then you can build a strong foundation for getting everything else right.

The other advantage that our focus brings is cost. Large organisations have large overheads; by sticking to what we know and what we believe is important, we don’t have to maintain an army of people and the burden of large overheads, so we can offer top-drawer management consultancy services without the top-drawer price-tag.
